"Wartime Memories" Thematic Talk
Through the interactive map of the 'Japanese Occupation of Hong Kong, 1942-1945: A Spatial History Project” based on Geographic Information Systems, the speaker will vividly present Hong Kong’s military and social conditions during the Japanese occupation period (25 December 1941 – 30 August 1945), as well as the stories of different individuals from that time. Additionally, a lady who was five years old when Hong Kong fell in 1941 will also share profound wartime recollections at the lecture.
