Miniature of Tung Wah Museum and TWGHs Man Mo Temple

Tung Wah Museum

Tung Wah Museum is the blueprint of the delicate miniature. According to the current architectural structure, the miniature features Chinese and Western architectural design meticulously, for example, the plaques and couplets at the gable verandan, the pitched gable roof with green glazed tiles, a peal in the middle of the ridge and  dragon fish at each end. Tung Wah Museum was originally the main hall building of Kwong Wah Hospital and declared a monument by the Government in 2010.

Man Mo Temple

The Man Mo Temple Compound on Hollywood Road, Sheung Wan, which comprises three blocks, namely Man Mo Temple, Lit Shing Kung (列聖宮) and Kung Sor (公所), is the blueprint of the delicate miniature. According to the current architectural structure, the Shiwan pottery ornaments on the main ridge of Man Mo Temple, the Chiwen (animal at each end of the ridge) and the Zhishi signs at the main entrance are nicely reproduced on the miniature. Man Mo Temple was declared a monument by the Government in 2010.
